Amazing feeling to land in spring suddenly:) It was so fine weather the day we arrived. In our neighbourhood, near Vatican.
Still Christmas / New Year spirit in the evening is visible
Christmas cribs are a common scene in almost everywhere. What was new and funny for us, that Italians depict the scene of Christ´s birth in an Italian village setting. So as it will be closer for people. It´s really cute with baby Jesus and lots of neighbours around making pizza, selling vegetables:)

:) Mercedes is probably trying to compete with Fiats and Alfa-romeos with a huge Christmas tree decorated with their logos.
We walked on the famous via Margutta where some parts of the Roman Holidays were made.
... and where legendary Fellini lived.
Italy has the best Ice-cream and noone dare argue with that!!!!

And she tried stealing one. Then, the smart of us said that it most probably won´t fit into the luggage. We gave up after all.
This very special doll-shop was not only amusing with its habitants but also the name: Sculture di Lucia Tota (every Armenian speaker will smile at this sign that reads Lusya totai qandaknere:). Sorry difficult to translate the meaning of the Armenian expression into English..

Huge Fendi Christmas decoration in a form of a Fendi belt.
Everyone has its own cause to fight for. These ones are against war and tourist menus :D
Pepsi is competing against Coca Cola with a blue white Christmas tree in Campo del Fiori. In general that there were very few 'traditional' red Christmas decorations in Rome. Is it Italian way of saying 'no' to the mainstream and sticking to their tradition, or Pepsi has its way in rome?:)
Our blog is getting popular:))!!! We saw shops named after us in Rome!!!:D:D:D Not of top quality though.. Need to complain.
We came across an exhibition about Armenian historical capital Dvin in the Museum of Rome.
Best tiramisu I´ve ever eaten. In a small red cafe in Trastevere, don't remember the name:)
The cute fun cinema where we watched the new Sherlock Holmes movie.
The small vehicles of Rome, even the garbage-picking trucks and buses:) CUUTTEE!
Mario Testino´s amazing exhibition Todo o Nada that presents women portrayed by the famous photographer during his work for biggest fashion magazines. Should you be nearby before 22. January, do not miss the chance.
It feels so at home seeing the laundry hanging at the windows.
