Soon Summer: All About Summer Trends

Soon is the best time of the year - SUMMER!!! Time for holidays, travelling, summer parties and lots of other exciting stuff. All those occasions deserve proper clothing. For that fair goal, we have made a big post on all the main trends of this summer and how to wear them. 

Colors

Two is swell, three is better – and rule of rules: that closest to face colour is flattering. Bags and shoes - natural (nudes or black), make-up and hair - minimal, and voila - colorful new you.

Floral

Whether they’re pretty pastels or intense brights, florals don’t need a lot of accessories. Hats, cardigans and sandals are perfect extras to the summer outfits. The shoes should either vanish or hijack a deep color. Whether it is a an evening dress, harem pants or a mini, remember, there is always something to suit any kind of taste and body shape.

Mens wear

When it comes to mens wear, undone means done right. Cuffs open, ignored belt loops, skinny pants or short shorts in a pop of color, a top with a deep cut in front, a jacket for cold summers or a vest for hotter ones: here is a perfect look for a lady this summer. We´d wear any shoe with it: high heels, loafers or just ballerinas. This is a mens world, and women in mens wear rule it!:)

White

Whites: a pool of possibilities: just to seek a look that works for us. are you one of us, and think that white is too plain? Mix textures by combining chiffon, with poplin or layering lace over cotton. Accessories can make any plain white outfit into an exciting outfit. But! The wrong ivory shoe can come off as heavy and ill-matching, choose the right shades or slip into chic metallic sandal:)

Back in ‘70s

Indulging into 70s - big hair, dark eyeliner and dressed as if to stay out all night. Try on those flowery wide pants, maxi dresses, disco motifs and oversize accessories. For day, pair the same with simple sandals, a skinny belt and a gold cuff or two. We don´t know anyone who does 70s better than Nicole Richie (not that we know her, really:)

Lace

Lace gowns still look best either back in the previous centuries or on the red carpets. But a cool t-shirt and a lace skirt, a dress in a modern cut or ballet flats create that modern, somewhat edgy look. It´s easy to look ´too much´or ´from another era´in lace, so avoid colour and too many accessories, or keep it mismatching, something that clearly ´says´ 2011.

Sporty

Taking advantage of sporty or dresses that offer body-conscious flexibility in fabrics like satin or cashmere that feel a bit luxe. White is the base colour and aviators or a bright watch are all you need to score high. One sure tip to keep it street-smart: Never wear any of it with sporty sneakers:)

Modern metallics

Silver and bronze... They can look edgy or even severe in structured silhouette. Do you want an easier look? Go for loose styles! Stay clear of color, except for white or naturals, and you are ready for the summer´s most important party:)
