Illamasqua Mascara 'Masquara'

Recently launched from Illamasqua is their mascara, cleverly named 'Masquara' - incorporating both the product and brand. The shade is called Raven which is a perfect name for the really intense and deep black colour - ideal for those of you who like dark and dramatic lashes. With it's slick and chic dark black packaging, the 'masquara' is marketed for full-on lashes that last and this product certainly delivers. It is not for natural lashes or for subtle definition. Instead it provides drama, length and a strikingly deep colour to provide eye catching results. I love it.

 The mascara wand is full and big, yet it is easy to work with and is relatively mess free compared with other wands similar to it. It successfully separates each lash and leaves an even and accurate finish. However, I must say that it is not brilliant on bottom lashes due to its dramatic nature, I would normally opt for something else but that is just being fussy, on the whole it works wonders to transform the lashes. It also lasts really well and doesn't shed throughout the day, it retains it's shape and boldness to last you right into the night. My perfect kind of mascara! One coat I find is enough to give those statement lashes, making it fast and quick to use, but by adding an additional coat will then increase it's effect and add extra drama to your lashes. A great, great product from Illamasqua.
